Deposit Diary Daily #409
Best Nationally Available Savings/Money Market Accounts (4 July 2025)
What’s Happening
The bad news first: Roger Bank lowered its Savings rate to 4.12%, a substantial decrease of 53 bps. Added to the Deposit Quest Liquid Summary in late December 2024, the Savings account initially offered 5.00%. The rate was in effect until April when it was lowered to 4.65%. This week’s rate drop removed the Savings account from the 20 highest-rate nationally available savings accounts and Money Market in the DQ Liquid Summary.
The okay news is there are three new additions to the DQ Liquid Summary:
Citizens State Bank (Raisin) • High Yield Savings Account • 4.34% ($1 min)
StatePoint Federal Credit Union (Raisin) • Money Market Deposit Account • 4.30% ($1 min)
Believe Savings • Believe Savings • 4.20% (no min, $100 opening deposit)
