What’s Happening
Kinecta Federal Credit Union removed the 9-month Liquid Certificate (4.25% APY ) from its product line last week. The 9-month Liquid Certificate made its debut about ten months ago, with the 4.25% APY in effect the entire time. As other No-Penalty CD rates dropped since the beginning of the year, the 9-month Liquid Certificate became more competitive with the constant 4.25% APY.
