The TruStone Financial Credit Union first-time checking account $150 cash bonus is scheduled to expire on 30 June 2025.
The Expedition Credit Union Free Rewards Checking $200 bonus and the First Tech Federal Credit Union First Tech Rewards Checking $50 bonus or $300 bonus are still available.
As noted below, Jovia Financial Credit Union has significantly raised the rate on its Go Green Checking account to 5.00% APY, but the qualifying requirements have become more considerable.
New requirements: debit card purchases of $500+, direct deposit/mobile deposit $500 min, eStatements, $150 cash bonus no longer available.
Old requirements: debit card purchases of $250+, direct deposit/mobile deposit $100 min or one bill pay, eStatements, $150 cash bonus when opening a first-time checking account with direct deposit
The Signature Federal Credit Union High-Yield Checking account is now known as High-Yield Checking w/High-Yield Savings, with a newly increased 5.00% (up to $25k). The minimum direct deposit has been reduced from $1k to $500 and all rewards are now automatically transferred to the companion High-Yield Savings (currently 2.00% on balances ≥ $100k).
Veridian Credit Union is currently offering a promotional 5.00% (up to $20k) on its Premium Plus Checking account that is guaranteed for six months, along with a $300 cash bonus on new Premium Plus Checking accounts opened now through 30 June 2025.
Existing Premium Plus Checking accounts continue to earn 3.00% (up to $20k) with no cash bonus offered.
