AlumniFi Savings
I’ve added a new savings account from a relatively new financial institution: the AlumniFi Savings offered by AlumniFi Credit Union, the digital arm of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union. AlumniFi Credit Union (like MSUFCU) is an easy membership credit union.
Two Ways to Become an AlumniFi Member:
1. AlumniFi Membership is available if you live, work, worship or attend school in the State of Michigan.
2. Not you? No Problem - Join the Desk Drawer Foundation, a 501(c) organization that supports community non-profits.
The AlumniFi Savings has tiered rates that are guaranteed through the end of February:
Tier 1 • 4.25% APY • No minimum
Tier 2 • 4.50% APY • $25k minimum
Tier 3 • 4.75% APY • $100k minimum

SPREADSHEET
The attached spreadsheet lists the 100 current best rates offered on nationally available savings accounts and Money Market accounts as of February 21, 2025.
I appreciate your hard work! One thing though, I would note great caution in utilizing financial firms offering high interest rates like Evergreen even if they say they are FDIC insured. I took this bait with On Juno and all accounts have been locked for almost a year!
